Who we are
800 Summit ("the app", "we") is a study app that helps users prepare for the
Israeli psychometric entrance exam (פסיכומטרי). For privacy questions, contact us at

What we collect
The app does not ask for your name, email, or phone number to use it.
- Anonymous account identifier. On first launch we create an
anonymous Firebase Authentication account. It is a random identifier ("uid") used
only to save your progress to your device/account. It is not linked to your real identity.
- Learning data. Practice results, session history, per-word
statistics, points, streaks, target score, and exam-format preference — stored in
Google Firebase (Firestore) under your anonymous uid.
- Content you submit for AI features. When you use AI features
(practice question generation, essay grading, wrong-answer explanations, progress
analysis), the relevant text — including essays you write — is sent to our server
and on to Anthropic to generate a response.
We do not collect precise location, contacts, photos, or advertising
identifiers, and we do not sell personal data.
How we use it
- To save and show your progress, scores, and recommendations.
- To provide AI-generated questions, feedback, and analysis.
- To protect the service (rate limiting and abuse prevention).
Third-party processors
- Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore) — stores your
account and learning data. See Google's privacy policy.
- Anthropic (Claude API) — processes text you submit to AI
features to generate responses. See Anthropic's privacy policy and terms.
Data retention & deletion
Your learning data is kept until you delete it. You can permanently delete
your account and all associated data in-app via Profile → מחיקת חשבון.
Deletion removes your profile, session history, and word statistics from Firestore and
deletes your authentication account.
Children's privacy
The app is intended for exam candidates (generally 16+). We do not knowingly collect
data from children under the age required by your jurisdiction.
Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated"
date above.
